Tony Khan could pull the trigger on 33-year-old star dethroning Jon Moxley in AEW, says ex-WWE star

A massive star is set to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Ahead of the match, a former WWE star predicted that Tony Khan could book the title to change hands.

Former WWE star Nic Nemeth (aka Dolph Ziggler) is the latest to comment on Powerhouse Hobbs facing Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title. After being with multiple factions over the years, Hobbs is finally on his own following his exit from The Don Callis Family, and he is ready to elevate his game to the next level. This was visible when The Embodiment Of Willpower won last week's Casino Gauntlet match. With this win, he will challenge Moxley for the AEW World Championship this week on Dynamite.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Nic Nemeth commented that this match will be very close, and there is a slight chance that Tony Khan might book a title change to take place.

"I know they're going to go above and beyond, and have it be as close as hell," Nemeth said. "Either a foot on the rope, a cheap shot, or something, but let them have that match. Let Moxley help make Hobbs even more. Get us going to where we go, ... 'They might switch the title!' And that is the goal of anything in this situation, and then keep rocking and rolling — do not forget about him next week." [H/T: WrestlingInc]

Powerhouse Hobbs sent a message to Jon Moxley ahead of an upcoming title match

Jon Moxley is a marked man in AEW as long as he wears the World Championship. Many challengers want a piece of him right now, such as Jay White, Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, and even Christian Cage. Now that Powerhouse Hobbs has won the Casino Gauntlet match, Mox has one more challenger to worry about.

Last week on Collision, Powerhouse Hobbs conveyed a powerful message to the Purveyor of Violence.

"There is nothing you can actually do to me. So this Wednesday, Cincinnati, Ohio, Mox, I am going to make you my b**ch." [From 0:57 to 1:09]

It will be interesting to see how Powerhouse Hobbs will hold up against Jon Moxley this week.
