Tony Khan reveals his father Shahid Khan's reaction after The Young Bucks’ assault on AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan disclosed his father Shahid Khan's reaction after The Young Bucks attacked the former on AEW Dynamite.

Fans inside Daily's Place were stunned when Jack Perry laid his hands on Tony at Dynamite despite being reinstated to the company by the latter. Despite appearing to seemingly help the promotion's head honcho, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson turned on Khan as well, delivering a TK Driver on the latter.

The Creative Head of AEW was seen in attendance at the 2024 NFL Draft, wearing a neckbrace, obviously selling the effect of the piledriver he took on Dynamite. The owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars addressed the shocking attack he suffered at the hands of The Elite during an interview with the NFL Network.

Notably, Khan shed light on his father, Shahid Khan's reaction to the incident, revealing that the 73-year-old business tycoon was infuriated, regardless of his enjoyment of AEW's on-screen product.

“He was very angry at the people who assaulted me, my dad loves AEW and he’s a big fan of what we do Wednesday’s on TBS and Saturday’s, just like tomorrow night in Jacksonville on TNT," Khan said.

The AEW President added that while Shahid was a regular viewer of All Elite Wrestling television, he did not anticipate the events that transpired on Dynamite.

“He watches every show and he never expected something like that, it’s never happened before.” [H/T, Wrestletalk]

The Pakistani-American entrepreneur was seen checking on his son after The Elite's assault on Dynamite, marking his first onscreen appearance on All Elite Wrestling programming.

Carlie Bravo offered Shahid and Tony Khan aid against The Elite after AEW Dynamite.

Following The Elite incapacitating Tony Khan on Dynamite, several members of the All Elite Wrestling rushed to the ring to check in on the latter. This included Carlie Bravo, one half of the tag team The Infantry (alongside Captain Shawn Dean), who pulled off a major upset against The House of Black last month on AEW Collision.

Bravo was seen speaking with Tony's father, Shahid Khan, in a picture circulating on social media after the incident on Dynamite. The Georgia native took to X/Twitter to reveal the gist of their conversation:

"I was telling Mr. Khan that I know people in the hood that can fix this Elite problem we seem to have now. I slipped him my math. We tied in now. [salute emoji]," the post read.

Check out the tweet below:

Dynamite will return to television on May 1, 2024, in Winnipeg and will feature the return of former world champion Kenny Omega. It remains to be seen whether he will address his former stablemates after being fired by The Young Bucks from The Elite last month.
