Tony Khan takes massive shots at WWE for alleged contract tampering; reveals when "business became personal" for him

Tony Khan has come under fire from fans and veterans across the week for his heated posts on X, but today, he took things further. In an emotional message, Khan recalled his mother's illness last year and made a massive claim against WWE.

Dynamite and NXT went head-to-head on Tuesday, and Khan went into the night overly confident, as he hyped up the show. Sadly for him, WWE beat the AEW flagship show in ratings, resulting in mass ridicule being directed at Khan online.

In a recent post on X, Tony Khan praised the Mayo Clinic for saving his mother's life last year. However, he added that at this time last year, he received word that WWE was tampering with signed AEW contracts.

"This weekend marks 1 year since @MayoClinic saved my mom's life. During her ordeal, many AEW talent came to me alleging WWE tampering, inducing them to break their contracts. I'll never forget these phone calls at her side in the hospital; it's when business became personal for me."

According to reports, many inside AEW want Tony Khan to engage less with detractors online. It remains unclear how fans will feel about his latest post and whether or not WWE will comment on his serious allegation.

Tony Khan also took a shot at the detractors in his comment section defending WWE

The AEW President once infamously claimed that WWE hired a team of bot accounts to consistently take aim at him and his posts on social media. After many clapped back at his abovementioned post, Khan also took them to task.

In response to his own X-post, Tony Khan shockingly expressed that he "hates" his continual detractors.

"Not that I should be surprised, but the same WWE avatar accounts that spam me every day, no matter what I say or what it's about, now turning their wrath to Mom recovering from a near death experience, is why I straight hate these people to the bottom of my heart with all my soul."

CM Punk allegedly reacted to Tony's posts yesterday as well, and according to a report, claimed that he's glad to be away from AEW because of Khan's reactions. Clearly, the backlash from Tuesday has affected Tony Khan, which could explain his online outburst.
