WWE veteran Vince Russo claims AEW CEO Tony Khan will settle a controversial situation with a former star by paying him $1 million. The star is none other than Ryan Nemeth.
Former AEW star Ryan Nemeth has created a lot of buzz due to the recent report revealed by Fightful. Nemeth made several claims against CM Punk, stating that he was abused, harassed, and threatened by the former World Champion. He also held AEW accountable for not handling the issue and claimed that Punk had an undisclosed executive position in Jacksonville-based promotion.
In the recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws podcast, WWE veteran Vince Russo claimed that Tony could settle the issues with Ryan Nemeth by giving him some money. He further stated that Khan created these problems by handing out Vice President positions to his talent.
"As far as Mr. Nemeth is concerned, bro, he's very, very smart because Tony has made it clear, I'm a billionaire, I will throw money around. And you know darn well, that Tony Khan will settle with him for this to go away. A million dollars is nothing to Tony Khan to settle this. That's, what's going to happen. But you know, like I said, he created this problem when, you know, handing out Vice Presidents to the wrestlers, that that's a nightmare, man." [9:07 - 9:42]

Vince Russo believes the talent shouldn't get appointed as executive Vice Presidents by Tony Khan in AEW
In the same episode, Vince Russo recalled how many previous issues in All Elite Wrestling arose because Tony Khan made some wrestlers the Executive Vice Presidents. He said that giving the talent such power created a very messy situation. Russo added:
"Bro, it's messy for a very, very simple reason man. This happened from day one. Bro, the minute the boys are also executive Vice Presidents of the company. And, he's clearly saying here that [CM] Punk was in an executive role, bro, you've got a problem. You've got a problem because your peers are now your boss. It's a huge problem and Tony Khan, not knowing that that was like such a taboo that it's office or the boys, It's never both. He didn't have a clue. He immediately named these guys, executive Vice Presidents. And if you look at the history of AEW, that is led to nothing but trouble. [8:16-9:06]
