Top AEW star reacts to heated segment involving Hangman Page with a three-word message

A top AEW star recently reacted to an aggressive confrontation with "Hangman" Adam Page. The star being discussed is Swerve Strickland.

The former AEW World Champion returned to the promotion after four months of absence and has scored victories over Jeff Jarrett and Jay White since.

When The Realest Star joined AEW, he was aligned with Keith Lee and the duo didn't get over as much as fans expected. The only highlight he had in 2023 was his feud with "Hangman" Adam Page. The duo shared an intense feud and squared off multiple times.

Swerve, however, has been on top of his game in 2024. At the start of the year, he was unsuccessful in capturing the world championship. However, things changed soon after and he finally won the gold at Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View. Since then, he has been shutting off the naysayers by delivering top-notch promos and matches week after week.

The 33-year-old star went to war with Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door and retained his championship. Also, the star could be a part of All In 2024 if the title doesn't change hands until then. He has surely made a significant transformation in his character.

A fan recently posted a promo from last year from his ongoing feud with The Cowboy, where many felt Swerve cut a mediocre promo. The latter reacted to the post saying it was 'trash.'

"It was trash," he responded, with a crying smiley emoji.

"Hangman" Adam Page could face Swerve Strickland at AEW's All In 2024

As announced earlier, the winner of the Owens Hart Foundation Tournament is slated to receive a world championship opportunity at this year's All In PPV.

After overcoming various hurdles, The American Dragon and The Cowboy will face each other in the final of the tournament on the upcoming edition of Dynamite. If Hangman defeats Bryan Danielson, he would challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at All In.

It will be interesting to see who wins the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament this Wednesday night.
