Top AEW star seemingly apologizes over his recent actions - "For the first time in my career"

AEW star Brody King has seemingly issued an apology after his victory over Darby Allin on Dynamite. King is a member of The House of Black faction.

The Continental Classic tournament started at this week's AEW Dynamite. The main event of the show saw House of Black's Brody King face off against Darby Allin in the Gold League. The Daredevil wrestled the match with injuries he suffered during the car crash at the end of Full Gear PPV. Brody King emerged victorious against Darby Allin after hitting him with a Gonzo Bomb and earned three points in the tournament.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), AEW posted an exclusive video of Brody King who seemingly feels some remorse after defeating a bruised-up Darby Allin:

"For the first time in my career, I'm not sure I'm okay with the level of violence I brought to Darby Allin. We've taken years off each others but tonight he came in at not 100%. He was in a car accident on Saturday and he showed up to a match with me on a Wednesday. I begged him to stop. I begged him to leave the match and he wouldn't say no. I know it's what he would have wanted but that doesn't make it any easier."

Brody King has been one of the major rivals of Darby Allin in All Elite Wrestling and both stars have developed respect for each other after their battles. Last month at WrestleDream PPV, Darby Allin picked up a huge victory over Brody King.

Speaking with RJ City and Renee Paquette on AEW Meal & a Match, Darby Allin said that Brody King's blood is on him and spoke about the risks in competing with him:

"Brody [King] he's... look at him, see that's crazy like right here, that's all his blood on me. Like you would think I'm the one dying." [From 08:40 to 08:53]

We will have to wait and see if Brody King and Darby Allin square off again after their recent match on Dynamite.
