Top AEW star sends a special message to Mick Foley

A top star in AEW recently sent a special message to Mick Foley. The star in question here is Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

The Hardcore legend celebrated his 59th birthday this year. Baker and Foley are good friends. They have been spotted hanging out with each other on multiple occasions in the past.

Sharing an old photo of herself with Mankind on her Instagram stories, the former AEW Women's Champion wished her close friend a happy birthday. She also took a playful jab at Foley, showing the depth of their friendship.

She captioned her Instagram story, "Happy birthday @realmickfoley!! (One day you too will be a hardcore legend)"

Tony Khan is 'eager' to have Britt Baker back in AEW

The head honcho of AEW Tony Khan recently did an interview with Uproxx. During the conversation, he commented on Britt Baker's absence from the Jacksonville-based promotion.

He praised the female wrestler and said he would love to have her back on TV very soon.

“Dr. Britt Baker is one of our original stars, and she’s been out injured for an extended period of time. I’m very eager to get Britt back here. She’s somebody that’s been part of AEW all along. And we’d love to have her back in the mix very soon,” Tony Khan said.

Britt has been out of action for almost nine months. She was last seen on the September 16, 2023 edition of Collison. At the show, she took on Kris Statlander for the TBS Championship in a losing effort.

Following the match, she went on a hiatus. It was reported that Baker has been dealing with some back issues but is recovering at a good rate and looking forward to returning to the ring. The former Women's Champion has even dropped some hints of her return to the squared circle.
