Top AEW star told to stay at home
Top AEW star Kris Statlander was recently told to stay at home. Mercedes Mone was the one who told her so.
The 29-year-old star took on The CEO for the AEW TBS Championship at Full Gear 2024 on November 23. Unfortunately, she was unsuccessful in defeating the champion at the event. But she's seemingly not done with the TBS Championship.
In a backstage interview on this week's edition of Fright Night Rampage, she stated she has unfinished business with the TBS Championship. She also stated that she'd keep her eye on the Mercedes Mone vs. Anna Jay match, which is set to take place on the flagship show Dynamite next week.
Reacting to Statlander's segment on Rampage, former Sasha Banks told her not to show up to next week's Wednesday night show and stay at home.
"Please stay at home," the TBS and NJPW Strong Women's Champion wrote.

Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander created history at AEW Full Gear 2024
Last week, Mercedes Mone, in her Mone Mag Weekly, revealed that her match against Kris Statlander broke a massive record. It was the longest women's match in All Elite Wrestling's history. She went on and commented on her experience with sharing the same ring with The Galaxy's Greatest Alien.
"Our match set a new record as the longest women’s match in AEW history, and it was an honor to be part of such a monumental moment. As we went toe-to-toe, the intensity only grew, and I knew we were creating something special in that ring. There’s a certain camaraderie that develops when you share the canvas with someone who brings out the best in you, and I felt that with Kris."
The former WWE star's enthralling bout against the former TBS Champion lasted for about 19 minutes and 25 seconds.
