Top RAW stars surprisingly reference The Young Bucks and Adam Cole on WWE TV

Just a few moments ago, during a blockbuster clash on this week's edition of NXT, a top WWE faction referenced Adam Cole and The Young Bucks. This would be The Alpha Academy.

Otis and the rest of the faction came down to the developmental brand as he was slated to face one of the most dominant champions in recent times, the NXT North American Champion Oba Femi. Oba has not lost a single match since winning the Breakout Tournament and has held the title since January when he defeated Dragon Lee.

This was a matchup between two giants, something the champion was not used to on NXT as he has always had the size and strength advantage during his current reign.

Before the match started, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri joined Otis in the ring. They both leaned in to kiss him on each cheek, with Tozawa even needing to jump as he couldn't reach Otis' cheek.

This was seemingly referencing how The Young Bucks often used to do this with Adam Cole during their partnership a few years back as SuperKliq. The Jackson brothers would also lean in, with Adam Cole now expecting the kisses on his cheeks.

Tonight's match between Otis and Oba Femi is something fans should check out, as this seems like a tall task for the NXT North American Champion to overcome.
