Top star adds "AEW" to his bio amid massive WWE speculation
In the past few months, Daniel Garcia's popularity has risen by leaps and bounds. His last match in AEW was at All Out earlier this year, where he lost to MJF. However, after this showdown, the 26-year-old laid waste to The Salt of the Earth in an act of vengeance.
For the past few months, there were rumors that Garcia was going to leave Tony Khan's promotion when his current contract expires. Furthermore, there were heavy speculations that he was WWE-bound. However, neither the Stamford-based company nor Garcia has provided a proper update about the situation. Now, it looks like he is not leaving AEW after all.
Daniel Garcia recently updated his X (formerly Twitter) bio. In it, he mentioned All Elite Wrestling's official handle and added some emojis.
"@AEW 🚶🏽🌎, " wrote Garcia.
Fans now believe that Garcia is staying with All Elite Wrestling. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the former ROH Pure Champion.
According to Matt Hardy, AEW star Daniel Garcia will become a star if he joins WWE
Matt Hardy is reportedly a fan of Daniel Garcia. A few weeks back, on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion stated that if the 26-year-old did sign for WWE under Triple H's creative, he would become a star in the future.
"So I think DG [Daniel Garcia] is so young. Whatever decision he makes, if he stays at AEW, he’s going to be good. I think he’s gonna get an opportunity, and he is going to get the opportunity to do this thing with MJF, whatever it may be. I think if he goes to WWE, he’s going to be good. He’s gonna become a star. You just never know. It is hard to tell. I think he’s just so young," he said. [H/T: EWrestlingNews]
