Top star confirms he'll show up on AEW Collision; Blackpool Combat Club member warned
A popular AEW star has just revealed that they'll be around tomorrow night on Collision, and they intend on confronting one of the members of the Blackpool Combat Club. This would be Orange Cassidy talking about Wheeler Yuta.
A few days ago on Dynamite, Jon Moxley pulled out an interesting tactic to bait Cassidy to come out and face him. He signaled to his stablemates to grab Wheeler Yuta and drape a chair around his neck. This was enough for Cassidy to come out and go for the save, as they planned. Yuta had no idea he was going to be used as a sacrificial lamb in this case.
During his recent appearance on The Preston & Steve Show, Orange Cassidy revealed that he'll be around tomorrow night on AEW Collision. He also mentioned how he felt like meeting up with Wheeler Yuta during the show. Cassidy and the rest of Best Friends were the mentors of Wheeler before he turned to the BCC.
"I'm definitely going to be there and you'll definitely see me doing something," said Cassidy. [H/T Fightful]
Interestingly, AEW announced earlier today that Jon Moxley will be around also during the show. It remains to be seen whether a confrontation could take place.
Jon Moxley took out an AEW star close to Orange Cassidy last week
Orange Cassidy has been forced to get serious by Jon Moxley and his group after they caught one of his longtime friends in a gruesome attack on last week's edition of AEW Dynamite.
During the show, they grabbed Chuck Taylor, who was now working backstage for the promotion due to him being sidelined indefinitely with injuries. To add insult to injury, they wrapped his neck with a steel chair and stomped down on it. Cassidy was too late, and the job had been done already.
After the doctors brought him out on a stretcher, Cassidy snapped at the rest of the roster and claimed that he'd be the one to set all things right. It was also announced that, as of this week, Taylor is still recovering at the hospital.
Chuck Taylor was not only dear to Orange Cassidy, but he was also one of Wheeler Yuta's mentors. It remains to be seen whether this finally gets addressed by both parties tomorrow night.
