Top star threatens to commit "murder" during AEW Dynamite
A top star is set to compete on AEW Dynamite this week. She has threatened to commit "murder" during the show.
Mariah May is one of AEW's top young prospects. She started her journey in the promotion by aligning herself with Toni Storm. For several months, she was Storm's protege. However, after winning the Owen Hart Cup, Mariah suddenly turned her back on Storm and brutally assaulted her. She left her mentor in a pool of her own blood, turning heel in the process and becoming one of the most hated stars in the company.
Tonight on Dynamite, Mariah May is set to take on Viva Van in a singles match. However, she may be underestimating her opponent before the match. May took to social media to say that she is going to commit "murder" tonight on Dynamite, which may be a sign of things to come for Van.
"I’m here and about to murder a girl on live television See ya on TBS"

Mariah May gave an update on AEW's locker room
The AEW locker room has seen its fair share of backstage fights and altercations. Most recently, Britt Baker got into a confrontation with MJF and his girlfriend, Alicia Atout. While this may put a black mark on the locker room atmosphere in the company, one star had nice things to say about the backstage environment.
Speaking to Daily Star, Mariah May had nothing but positive things to say about the company's locker room atmosphere despite recent incidents dictating otherwise:
"I loved them all. Stardom is my family, AEW is my family. In both of them, I’ve been a foreigner. I know we both speak English, but I’m technically a foreigner, and I feel like they’ve both looked after me so much. I don’t have family or friends and they’re so sweet. They’ve taken me in as their own. Japan is a real sisterhood, they’re a little bit younger so its kind of like school in a way. Whereas I feel AEW is a family, you have your mums and your dads, you’ve got people from so many walks of life and doing so many different things. It's huge, there’s so many different people there. You have brothers and sisters. A real family. It’s lovely there," May said. [H/T Fightful]
It will be interesting to see if Mariah May will be able to dethrone Toni Storm at All In.
