Triple H "always avoided the conversation" about bringing back legendary faction, says former WWE star
AEW currently employs several former WWE Superstars. Some of the Jacksonville-based promotion's current titleholders like Jon Moxley, Mercedes Mone, and more were once massive names in the Stamford-based company.
One of the most dominant factions in AEW is The Hurt Syndicate, which consists of former WWE Superstars MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin. During their time in the Stamford-based promotion, the faction was known as The Hurt Business. Additionally, they had a fourth member: Cedric Alexander. Recently, the group's manager, MVP, revealed a piece of shocking information about the faction.
Taking to X/Twitter, the 51-year-old veteran said that there were plans to develop The Hurt Business and add new members to it. He also stated that the faction was never about race but friendship and the desire to make money. However, according to him, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H "always avoided the conversation."

Former WWE star MVP on the criteria to join The Hurt Syndicate
MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin were recently interviewed by Renee Paquette for AEW Close Up. Paquette asked the 51-year-old veteran who could potentially be the fourth member of their faction. Even though he did not reveal too much information, the former WWE United States Champion mentioned the criteria for a wrestler to join the faction.
"They have to be coachable. Number two, they have to have swag, swagger, a sense of style and fashion because we are hashtag fashionably violent ... you can't have a nice pair of jeans," MVP said. [H/T WrestlingINC]
At the AEW Full Gear 2024 Pay-Per-View, The Hurt Syndicate's Bobby Lashley will lock horns with Swerve Strickland. It remains to be seen who emerges victorious in the highly anticipated match.
