Triple H could book WWE legend to win world title very soon, according to former SmackDown star
A former WWE name recently claimed a certain icon in the industry could be booked by Triple H to add to his tally of world championship reigns. This would be Matt Morgan talking about John Cena.
Last night at Money in the Bank, The Cenation Leader came out to talk to the Toronto crowd. He then made the shocking announcement that he would be retiring from the company within the next year. He then went on to reveal that he plans on ending this on a high note with one final full-time run, and 'Mania 41 would be his last WrestleMania.
During the recent episode of Gigantic Pop, Matt Morgan was asked whether Triple H would book John Cena for one more WWE world title run, breaking Ric Flair's record in the process. He revealed that while The Game may be a fan of The Nature Boy, it may be Flair himself who could tell him to make this a reality.
"Hunter is such a Ric Flair mark too though, he grew up idolizing that guy. So I don't know with Hunter's pen could he be the one that does that? But at the same time, I could also see Ric telling Hunter and the company 'Guys, this is the guy to break it. Come on you know this is John.' I know that he loves John to death so I can see it one more time, yes I can." [11:12-11:39]

John Cena could become a WWE world champion via a win at a certain PLE
At the press conference following WWE Money in the Bank, the 16-time world champion clarified that his final run would go on to the entire calendar of 2025. This meant that he'd get a chance to compete in several of his last Premium Live Events.
During his promo, Cena talked about competing in his last Royal Rumble and his last WrestleMania during his retirement tour. At this point, many have been clamoring for one more major achievement - breaking the record for most world title reigns.
Seeing as within the year, he may earn a world title shot, this is not entirely impossible. As he has teased, this could be through him winning the Royal Rumble. Should he do so, he could end up main eventing WrestleMania next year and break the WWE veteran's record.
It remains to be seen how the icon will be booked during his final run, but fans will surely have a lot to look forward to.
