Triple H clarifies potential shot at AEW following WWE Money in the Bank 2024
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H seemingly took a shot at AEW after the 2024 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event and later clarified it. The Cerebral Assassin potentially took a shot but clarified it later during the post-show press conference.
The Money in the Bank 2024 Premium Live Event turned out to be quite an eventful show with some surprises as well. John Cena made his return and announced that he would be on a retirement tour next year which was emotional for fans. Moreover, Drew McIntyre's Money in the Bank contract cash-in attempt was ruined following an interference from CM Punk.
After a terrific premium live event, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H sat down to address the events of the PLE during the post-show press conference. The Game joked about seven-hour pay-per-views but later clarified that he was talking about their company's old format of long pay-per-views and not about AEW to avoid speculations.
AEW wrestlers often take shots at the WWE and the two major wrestling promotions continuously throw shade at each other. Only time will tell if the Tony Khan-led promotion will fire back at the potential shot by Triple H.
