Triple H dealt a massive blow as promising star re-signs with AEW
WWE CCO Triple H has failed to sign a young rising star to the promotion. The star being discussed is Daniel Garcia.
The Dragon Slayer is one of the best pro wrestlers in the business today and has achieved a lot at a very young age. His matches have always been a delight to watch but the star has never won any major AEW championship throughout his tenure. He went viral for his dance last year.
Daniel Garcia became the talk of the town when the report of his free agency surfaced. For months, reports of him being conflicted on where to sign next emerged. Fans were concerned he might leave AEW as he was seemingly written off TV in July. He returned to the company at All In and faced MJF at All Out, but was again off programming for weeks. During this time, many believed he might join WWE.
In the latest edition of Dynamite, The Red Death talked about his time at home and talked about making difficult decisions. Daniel then claimed that he wanted to stay where the best wrestled and confirmed that he was All Elite. Some feel this might be a huge blow to Triple H-led promotion as a talented star slipped through his hands.
It will be interesting to see how Triple H responds to Tony Khan managing to retain this huge star within the confines of the Jacksonville-based promotion.
