Triple H's former ally finally breaks silence on not being a part of major reunion on WWE RAW
A former ally of WWE's Chief Content Officer, Triple H, has finally opened up about his absence from a major reunion during a special episode of RAW. The reunion took place on the January 23, 2023, episode of the flagship show.
During the 30th anniversary episode of Monday Night RAW last year, iconic stable D-Generation X had a nostalgic reunion in the middle of the ring, as fans saw Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, and Road Dogg come together for the special occasion. However, an original member of the faction and the star in question, Billy Gunn, was still missing from the reunion.
Billy Gunn is currently signed with AEW. During an interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insights, Gunn finally disclosed why he was not a part of the DX reunion on RAW is XXX last year.
"Yeah, it was just a miscommunication. It was trying to get [there] and believe me, I get it. I work for a completely different company. If I can do it, fine. If I can't get it, I'm not gonna [be mad]. I spent the majority of my life doing that company and being a part of it. So, of course, they want me to be there. But if the company that I'm with now has some issues of what they need and what they want, and if it doesn't work out, then I can't go; I can't be mad about it," he said. [H/T: chrisvanvliet.com]
Triple H's ally admitted that he was upset
