Unfortunate update on Tony Khan’s AEW status
The AEW President and CEO, Tony Khan, suffered a kayfabe neck injury after getting shockingly attacked by The Elite on the recent episode of Dynamite, and there is an update on his status as fans are wondering.
Tony Khan was surprisingly attacked by Jack Perry and The EVPs, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, on Dynamite. Following the assault, TK's father, Shahid Khan, came out to check on his son. Furthermore, Khan also sold the effects of his injuries by wearing a neck brace during the recent NFL Draft.
Fans are curious to see what happens with TK next. During the most recent episode of AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone provided an important update regarding the company President's condition and status after the attack by The Elite. Schiavone revealed that TK had suffered multiple head and neck injuries.
Moreover, doctors have advised Khan to avoid traveling. Therefore, he will run the shows remotely from Jacksonville only in the forthcoming weeks, starting from Dynamite in Winnipeg, Canada next week.
Countering Tony Schiavone's update, Nigel McGuinness also tried to imply that Matthew and Nicholas Jackson will run the company in TK's absence but that is not going to be the case. Only time will tell when Tony will be seen back on TV.
