[VIDEO] Heartbreaking unseen footage of Skye Blue being helped to the back after scary injury surfaces online

A clip of AEW star Skye Blue has emerged online after she was injured during her match on the latest episode of Dynamite. She injured her ankle while wrestling Hikaru Shida.

The 24-year-old star made her AEW debut in April 2021. In just a short period, she made a huge impact in the women's division. Skye made a huge name for herself when she was involved in a storyline with Julia Hart and turned heel.

On the recent edition of Dynamite, Blue was slated to wrestle Hikaru Shida. Just a few minutes into the match, the former AEW Women's World Champion dived to the ringside on Skye Blue. However, the latter landed uncomfortably and was seemingly hurt. The match was stopped immediately, and Shida was declared the winner.

After the contest, Tony Khan took to X/Twitter and stated that the 24-year-old star injured her ankle during the dive. Recently, an unseen clip of her going backstage has appeared. As seen in the clip, the star is in immense pain and can't walk on her own.


Skye Blue reveals how she found her way in AEW

The 24-year-old star made a huge name for herself in independent promotions. She recently disclosed how she ended up signing with the Jacksonville-based promotion.

While speaking with the Kicking Out podcast, Skye Blue revealed she was approached by Joey Janela and told to contact AEW star Shawn Dean, which led to her signing with the company.

“I was doing the indies for a while, and Joey Janela actually reached out to me and was like, ‘Hey, here’s Shawn Dean’s phone number. Go text Shawn Dean.’ I was like, 'What?' I kind of didn’t believe it was real because I was already going to be in (...) 2020 during COVID, during the pandemic."

As of now, no update is being given on when Blue will return to action.
