Vince Russo was the latest to weigh in on Shane joining AEW saga. One of the biggest news developments in the wrestling world has been Shane McMahon's rumored interest in the Jacksonville-based promotion. It was reported that the 54-year-old met up with Tony Khan at Arlington on July 29. A photograph from this meeting was also leaked online and went viral on social media.
Speaking on his YouTube channel the wrestling legend, Vince Russo, suggested that this whole meeting could've been orchestrated by Vince McMahon. He suggested that the former WWE Chairman sold all his shares in Endeavor and was stockpiling billions of dollars and now in a shocking twist could be looking to buy AEW, by using his son as a front.
"This is all being orchestrated by Vince McMahon and I said this bro when Vince McMahon was selling all his Endeavor shares and stockpiling billions of dollars, I said to you bro. What do you think? Vince McMahon is going to die with billions of dollars bro. You think Vince McMahon is going to leave his billions of dollars to his family? No bro! He was stockpiling that money for a reason and this is what it is all about bro. Obviously Vince McMahon cannot make any moves bro due to the predicament that he put himself in. What can he do bro? He can have his own son Shane be his representative," said Russo. [8:03 - 9:00]
