Vince and Shane McMahon could be planning revenge on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, says veteran, after being snubbed at WrestleMania 40 (Exclusive)
A former WCW Champion has claimed that Vince and Shane McMahon could be planning something huge against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Vince Russo believes that after Shane and Vince weren't mentioned even once during WrestleMania 40, they could be planning to take over AEW to go against WWE.
Shane O'Mac joining AEW has been a hot topic of discussion in the wrestling world. These rumors were further fueled by reports of Shane meeting Mercedes Mone recently, where they were noted to have spoken about AEW, too. However, these would remain mere rumors until something concrete takes place.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, the former WWE veteran noted Shane McMahon could be aiming to join All Elite Wrestling but not merely as a performer. Vince Russo stated that after Shane and Vince McMahon were not mentioned by Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 40, the father-son duo could be planning to exact revenge by going against WWE by taking control of AEW:
"I have to tell you man if I'm Shane and I see Stephanie and Triple H parading out there during WrestleMania, no mention of Shane whatsoever, no mention of the man (Vince McMahon) who started this, I'm taking that a little personally bro," said Vince Russo. (25:40 - 25:55)

Jim Ross on Shane McMahon's potential AEW move
A couple of weeks back on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross discussed how Shane McMahon's potential AEW signing was a wild idea on paper but could work in reality. The legendary broadcaster added that if Shane O'Mac and Tony Khan were on the same page creatively, he could work wonders for the promotion:
"Yeah, it would. It’s so crazy that it might work, depending on how it was positioned and how it was introduced. Shane called me the other day, he’s called me two or three times, which I really appreciate. He’s always been sensitive in that respect. That’s only a question that Shane could answer. Shane and Tony Khan being together, how would that work creatively, heck, who knows? Might be great. But in any event, that all depends on Shane and what he wants to do."
Shane McMahon hasn't been seen on WWE TV in more than a year now, with his last appearance coming way back at WrestleMania 39.
