Wardlow may have been replaced in AEW; potential clue dropped
A top AEW star may have seemingly taken Wardlow's spot as one of the members of the Undisputed Kingdom. This was following him having a great showing while teaming up with members of the faction. This would be Beast Mortos.
The former TNT Champion, also considered the muscle of the faction, has not been seen for a while now. His last match was back in March at Big Business when he unsuccessfully challenged Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship.
Despite being a member of the Undisputed Kingdom, he has never competed side-by-side with the rest of the members. He has only accompanied them to the ring and has helped in providing interference during their matches.
Earlier tonight, Beast Mortos on the other hand was seen teaming up with Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett. This comes just a few days after he helped Strong in defeating The Conglomeration, even pinning ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe in the process.
Earlier tonight he made his entrance with the faction, and it looked like he fit in just right with them. He has also ended up competing alongside them, even before Wardlow did.
It remains to be seen whether this will be a one-off team-up, or whether the luchador's value could push him to become a member of the faction and replace Wardlow in the process.
