Warner Bros. Discovery issues statement on AEW's new partnership venture in 2025

AEW signed a new media rights agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery earlier this year. New details have now emerged regarding the deal in a press release jointly issued by the two parties.

A couple of months ago, news broke that All Elite Wrestling and WBD had reached a new multi-year agreement regarding the broadcast of content produced by the Tony Khan-led promotion. The deal, reportedly highly lucrative, has been presented as a game-changer for AEW, whose weekly shows—Dynamite and Collision—will continue to air on TBS and TNT, respectively, and will be simulcast on MAX from next year onwards.

The agreement kicks off with Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen 2025 in Asheville, NC, on January 1 and will continue with Collision from Charlotte, NC, three days later. In addition to the aforementioned information, a new press release from All Elite Wrestling and WBD has revealed further details about the availability of All Elite programming content from the company's inception in 2019 through the end of 2024 and about its pay-per-view collaboration with MAX.

"All live AEW programming airing on WBD’s networks will also be available to stream on Max and on demand after their live broadcast. Additionally, Dynamite, Collision, Rampage and all [All Elite Wrestling ] pay-per-view library content through the end of 2024, representing more than 700 hours of action, will be made available on Max on a rolling basis. At launch, all Dynamite episodes and pay-per-views from the company’s inaugural 2019 year will be available, as well as more than two months of the most recent programming that aired across WBD’s networks (select episodes will be made available shortly after launch)."

The statement went on:

"As previously announced, All Elite Wrestling and WBD will also collaborate to distribute AEW live pay-per-view events on Max, with all marketing and promotions of those PPV events exclusively centered on Max. PPV distribution on Max will begin later in 2025, with additional information and pricing to be shared in the coming months." [H/T - PostWrestling]

AEW Fight For The Fallen may witness a blockbuster return

Anticipation regarding Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen has been soaring since North Carolina natives Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler promised to show up in Asheville on January 1 to battle The Death Riders. Notably, the duo capped off their statement by hinting that FTR will not be at the show alone.

Speculation has already exploded about who The Top Guys' unnamed ally could be. However, all signs seem to point to a certain WWE Hall of Famer and former TNT Champion, Adam Copeland.
