WATCH: Chris Jericho and Swerve Strickland unite for non-AEW project
Chris Jericho and Swerve Strickland are of two of AEW's most well-known names. The two men recently collaborated on a non-wrestling endeavor.
Both The Learning Tree and The New Flavor, in addition to being former AEW World Champions, have ties to the music industry and are musicians themselves. Jericho has been part of the heavy metal band Fozzy since the 2000s, and Strickland is involved with a hip-hop collective called Swerve City.
The two stars were recently at The Gramercy Theater in New York, where Swerve Strickland reportedly performed "in a supporting role" for Fozzy alongside his musical collaborator Flash Garments. The former Moghul Embassy Leader took to X/Twitter afterward to share a clip of his performance at the event.
"Thank you NYC!!!! @FOZZYROCK X @FlashGarments X Swerve," wrote Strickland.

Before this, Strickland and Jericho had performed together at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London, England, ahead of the 2024 iteration of AEW's blockbuster pay-per-view, All In.
Chris Jericho and Swerve Strickland are set for major bouts in AEW
After his loss to Mark Briscoe at WrestleDream 2024, Chris Jericho accused The Sussex County Chicken of cheating to retain his ROH World Title and asked for a rematch for the belt.
On the October 16, 2024, edition of Dynamite, Briscoe accepted the challenge with an added stipulation - that the bout would be a Ladder War, scheduled for next week's episode of the Wednesday Night show.
Also, on this week's Dynamite, MVP sent a warning to Swerve Strickland and advised him to reconsider The Hurt Syndicate's offer to avoid a fate like that of Lio Rush, whom Shelton Benjamin had defeated in sound fashion in his All Elite Wrestling in-ring debut.
However, the former World Champion showed no fear of The Gold Standard in a backstage interview later, which led to a match between the two men being made official for Fright Night Dynamite on October 30.
