[Watch] What happened backstage after Jeff Jarrett's devastating loss on AEW Dynamite
Jeff Jarrett suffered a devastating loss on the latest edition of AEW Dynamite. He was very disappointed with his defeat.
On AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, the WWE Hall of Famer participated in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament. He faced a wild card opponent, who turned out to be a returning 'Hangman' Adam Page.
Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart were tag team partners in WWE in the late '90s. The two even held the Tag Team Championship in the promotion. Double J participated in this year's Owen Hart Cup to honor his late friend. Therefore, when Jarrett lost to Page, he was very upset.
On X/Twitter, AEW recently released a digital exclusive video showing what happened backstage after Jarrett's loss to Page. Double J seemed utterly disappointed in himself for failing to qualify for the next round of the tournament. Meanwhile, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal tried to boost his morale.

Taylor Swift was close with Jeff Jarrett's family
Jeff Jarrett and Taylor Swift used to be neighbors. That said, in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, the WWE Hall of Famer shared a heartfelt story about Swift.
"Taylor went to the same high school, you know, just the same school system. I lived on Oker Lake. That time she lived on Oker Lake literally a mile from my house and she just started playing some songs, and I kinda will never forget it, you know, I had a lot going on in my life at that time. Personally, wife was very sick, and three kids, and then on the professional side, TNA. It was the early days and really going and going and just a lot of responsibilities. So, I can't say I sat around and listened to the song but she ended up staying three or four hours and played and by the time the thing was over, I'm not kidding, there was probably 30 or 40 people in the house."
Double J also disclosed that when his first wife, Jill Gregory, died, Taylor was there to provide any help and support the Jarrett family needed. She even offered to babysit his kids and bake them cookies.
