"We're hurt," reveals AEW star after Jon Moxley and Death Riders' vicious assault
An AEW star has just revealed that he and some of his allies are banged up following multiple incursions with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. This would be Alex Reynolds of Dark Order.
Over the past few weeks, several factions have tried to take the fight to Mox and his comrades, but most have fallen victim to them instead. Despite several babyfaces coming together, they have not been able to stop the onslaught done by the AEW World Champion.
On X/Twitter, Alex Reynolds mentioned how he and his ally John Silver are hurt, but as a tag team, they'll keep fighting. Both are scheduled to compete in a three-way match against The Infantry and the Undisputed Kingdom later tonight on AEW Rampage.
"We’re hurt, but we’re still in the fight. Don’t miss #AEWRampage tonight at 10pm on TNT All Elite Wrestling @AEW," Reynolds wrote.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray gives credit to Dark Order for defending AEW
Several of the company's originals have joined the fight against Jon Moxley. Dark Order, Top Flight, Daniel Garcia, Private Party, Orange Cassidy, and Darby Allin have stepped up to defend the company they love.
During a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray mentioned how he loved how some guys like the Dark Order have come forward to join the fight despite them being one of those who barely get TV time. This showed their loyalty and love for the company, and they may be the reason bigger names get involved in the fight.
“I like that these guys that don’t get as much TV time and aren’t around as much, are so willing to put their lives on the line for a company that they believe in, because if they’re willing to do it, then every top guy should be willing to do it also. The guy that wears the mask [Evil Uno], who’s a pretty decent talker, I can see him giving a rallying cry. Like ‘What the hell is wrong with everybody over here? If we’re willing to fight, why aren’t you willing to fight too?’” [H/T EwrestlingNews]
At this point, despite most of the locker room coming together, no one has been able to slow down Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. It remains to be seen if Orange Cassidy can get the job done or whether they'll have to find another way to take him down.
