Jon Moxley sends out ominous message to NJPW star
Jon Moxley has been on the hunt ever since he turned heel and forced Bryan Danielson to retire. He has adopted a 'take no prisoners' attitude, and it looks like he and his faction will stop at nothing.
His protege from New Japan Pro-Wrestling Shota Umino recently expressed how he did not like Moxley’s recent actions. The AEW World Champion took heed of the comments and sent out a message to Shota expressing how disappointed he was in the youngster, reminding him of his lessons. He also warned the 27-year-old Japanese that he would send an emissary to Tokyo to fix his problems.
"Shooter, Shooter, my man, you have made a mistake. A grave mistake. You've traveled down a dark path, a dark way of thinking, and I'm not mad, I'm just very disappointed. Let's go back to our first principles - we don't care what anybody thinks, we don't care what anybody says. What are you reading, what are you listening to, what's gotten inside your head? We're gonna continue your education, and I will send an emissary to the Tokyo Dome to fix this problem you're having. And we'll continue molding you into the champion that I know you can be," he said.
It will be interesting to see whom Jon Moxley will send over to Tokyo to teach Umino a lesson in January.
