Wheeler Yuta finally breaks silence on Jon Moxley suffocating Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag at AEW All Out
Wheeler Yuta has finally addressed what Jon Moxley and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club did to Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out 2024. He spoke about the situation on this week's Collision.
It has been a week since the assault, and only Moxley has addressed his actions. There has been no update from Danielson, as he may be recuperating from the attack. Meanwhile, Yuta appeared on the latest edition of Collision and shared his thoughts on the beatdown.
Wheeler Yuta discussed how he was still trying to wrap his head around all that had happened and why he was kept in the dark about something like this. The former ROH Pure Champion could not believe what the BCC did to The American Dragon and that he had to helplessly watch them put a plastic bag over his head.
"Everything and nothing if that makes sense. Everything because I'm just trying to scramble, to figure out why they did what they did, why they didn't tell me, why they did that to Bryan. And then nothing because all I can think about is those moments when they had that bag over Bryan's head where they were trying to end him. They were trying to make me watch for some reason."
Yuta mentioned that he could not understand Jon Moxley's agenda, as all he could remember was how helpless he was at the moment.
"Jon keeps talking about this higher purpose and I just don't understand it. All I understand was how afraid, how terrified, how concerned, how helpless I was when all that happened." [0:18 - 1:21]
Wheeler Yuta further revealed that he recently lost his aunt due to COVID-19 complications. He added that Danielson's beatdown hit him hard, as he imagined how his aunt and The American Dragon had to struggle for air.
Wheeler Yuta provided a quick update on Bryan Danielson
Earlier tonight on Collision, Lexy Nair was able to catch up with Wheeler Yuta when he arrived at the arena before his match with Anthony Henry.
Nair asked the former ROH Pure Champion whether he had any updates regarding Bryan Danielson. Yuta mentioned that the AEW World Champion was doing the best that he could but did not want to dive into details out of respect for Danielson's family. He also talked about the rest of the BCC, disclosing that he hadn't spoken to any of them.
“Out of respect for him and Brie and the kids, I don't wanna share too much but he is doing the best that he can. I don't have much of an update, but he is doing the best he can, and I haven't really talked to any of the other guys.” [0:17 - 0:53]
There are still many unanswered questions regarding this situation between the men who were once part of one of the promotion's top factions. It remains to be seen what's next in this storyline.
