Wrestling legend admits Chris Jericho is still "killing it out there," their last WWE match happened in 2009
Wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer claimed that Chris Jericho still thrives inside the ring. The two stars have often crossed paths, with their last match taking place on WWE Monday Night RAW in April 2009.
The Ocho was in action this week on AEW Dynamite. The Learning Tree and its branches took a loss against The Conglomeration.
Speaking on the Busted Open After Dark podcast, Tommy Dreamer praised Jericho for his performance on the recent episode of Dynamite. He then lauded the wrestling veteran some more and acknowledged how good of a wrestler he is.
"I loved watching Chris Jericho still perform just like, I don't view him as nostalgia. Chris is still killing it out there and I'm happy to see what he's doing in matches like that. Here's my other thing. The guy's a multi-millionaire. The guy's a rockstar. The guy's got so much going on. He's the producer of the number one movie out there and he's still going out there and crushing it. Getting heat the way you're supposed to get heat but also getting his praise and pops, and putting his body on the line. He had a crazy a** ladder match against Mark Briscoe last week. And then here he is another, I saw a big ol' elbow drop again on him. Good stuff tonight. [From 19:39 to 20:22]

Tommy Dreamer believes Chris Jericho and Tomohiro Ishii will start a rivalry
Kyle O'Reilly and Mark Briscoe performed brilliantly against Big Bill, Bryan Keith, and Chris Jericho, but Tomohiro Ishii was the one who picked up the win for his team and he did it by pinning Jericho. This led Tommy Dreamer to believe that AEW was potentially building a rivalry between Jericho and Ishii.
"The AEW audience was very much into from what I saw and they were very much into that three-way anything goes type of match with Ishii scoring the victory on Chris Jericho which is cool to see because obviously now [they're] gonna go with Jericho and Ishii." [From 19:19 to 19:38]
The Demo God and The Stone Pitbull have faced each other before. It happened on the 23.11.2022 edition of Dynamite which saw Jericho pick up the victory and retain the ROH World Championship.
