Wrestling veteran claims Adam Cole could try to get Britt Baker in WWE

AEW star Britt Baker is regarded as one of the crucial cornerstones of the company. She wrestled in the top feud from the women's division. Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell recently claimed Adam Cole could try to get Britt in WWE.

Baker's partner, Adam Cole, also joined AEW in 2021. He had a great run in WWE's NXT brand and is known for his reign as the NXT Champion.

After over nine months of hiatus, Dr. D.M.D returned to the promotion at Forbidden Door pay-per-view. Following her comeback, she was engaged in an intense feud with Mercedes Mone. The duo squared off at All In London for the AEW TBS Championship in a mediocre bout, and the match was highly criticized. She hasn't been seen since her match at Wembley Stadium. Many fans and veterans have been speculating the reason for her absence.

While speaking on Storytime with Dutch Mantell, the WWE veteran claimed that Adam Cole could be trying to get a deal from WWE for Britt Baker.

Tony Khan comments on Britt Baker's absence

The former AEW Women's World Champion missed the AEW All Out pay-per-view after performing at All In London.

During the post-media scrum of All Out, All Elite President Tony Khan was asked about Baker's status. He responded by saying that fans would have to keep an eye on her return.

"Dr. Britt Baker is an important part of the roster and something to keep an eye on when we see from Dr. Britt Baker, and when we'll hear from her and what we'll see next," he said.

It remains to be seen if she jumps ship to WWE or returns to AEW with another angle.
