Britt Baker and Adam Cole recently ended their relationship which has led to claims that the former could ruin the latter's career. A wrestling veteran has responded to these speculations.

Disco Inferno was the latest to comment on the Britt Baker and Adam Cole scenario. The two AEW stars were in a relationship for several years. They started dating back when Cole was still part of NXT. In fact, Baker even attended a few of the 35-year-old matches in WWE's developmental brand.

When Cole made his way over to AEW, their relationship was mentioned in several storylines. The first instance was when The Devil warned Tony Schiavone to stay away from Baker. Another instance was when The Doctor and Adam Cole were attacked by The Outcasts and the Jericho Appreciation Society.

Baker and Cole recently ended their relationship, which came as a surprise to many fans and speculations have been making rounds since. On the Keepin' It 100 Official podcast, a fan asked if Baker would ruin Cole's career since she was always in Tony Khan's ear. The fan also asked if she was somehow responsible for Adam Cole's bad booking in recent months.

Disco Inferno replied that Cole was out due to an injury and Britt had nothing to do with it. He also denied the possibility of a feud between Baker and Cole.

"How could she be behind it? The guy was hurt like he shattered his ankle. Now he's back. He's a good onscreen promo and character. [...] There's absolutely no way they're going to do Britt Baker vs. Adam Cole. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard to give us one week for that by the way," he said [00:42 - 1:03]
