WWE and AEW veteran met The Undertaker backstage at SummerSlam this year; details disclosed
A WWE Hall of Famer revealed he had a chit-chat with The Undertaker at the 2024 SummerSlam. The star being discussed is Arn Anderson. Despite his in-ring retirement, The Deadman is one of the most prominent WWE household names.
Arn Anderson worked as an advisor to Cody Rhodes during his AEW run. After the Amerian Nightmare left the promotion, he was rarely featured in the company. He left the Jacksonville-based promotion in May 2024. He was seen backstage at SummerSlam, where he advised the Undisputed WWE Champion.
While speaking on his ARN podcast, the 65-year-old star said he spoke to the Undertaker at the event. The former also talked about the respect The Undertaker got in the current locker room.
"He is so important to that locker room, and I just got to see him at SummerSlam backstage, talk to him for a little bit. He's just the most respected guy that walks that hall. He has the biggest following amongst the guys who just love and respect him," he said. [H/T - Wrestling Inc.]
Arn Anderson believes The Undertaker should have stayed undefeated at WrestleMania
Brock Lesnar shocked the wrestling world when he defeated The Phenom at WrestleMania 30 and broke his undefeated streak.
While speaking on his ARN podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer claimed that Undertaker's streak shouldn't have been broken.
No disrespect to Brock Lesnar, I don't think Taker's streak should've ever been broken," Anderson said. "He should still be sitting here unbeaten [at WrestleMania]. It's as special as anything has ever been, it's more special than anybody that won a world title. It's one of those things that comes along every so often and the character fits the angle."
It remains to be seen if Arn officially signs with WWE after his recent appearance in the promotion.
