WWE and AEW will soon resume their head-to-head battle again and Adam Cole has an interesting reaction
Next month, AEW and NXT will once again go head-to-head against each other. Adam Cole shared his thoughts on the matter during a recent interview and gave an interesting reaction.
WWE moved NXT to a day ahead to avoid a clash with Election Day in the United States. Therefore, NXT and Dynamite will occur on the same night on November 6.
Adam Cole recently had an interview with TV Insider, during which he was asked to comment on how he feels about NXT and Dynamite colliding once again. As an NXT alum, the AEW star responded that he's excited about it.
"I think it’s very exciting. I feel any time there is any kind of competition within pro wrestling, it has been nothing but a positive. When there is only one show in town, it can only do so much. I think when there are situations where people can challenge each other or go up against each other, it brings out the best in both places. It’s nothing but a good thing. It’s good for the wrestlers and fans alike."
Adam Cole comments on fans' reaction to his return at WrestleDream
Adam Cole returned from an almost five-month hiatus at WrestleDream. He was a heel before he went off TV, but the fans welcomed him back as a babyface at Tacoma Dome.
In the interview with TV Insider, he shared how he felt after receiving positive reactions from the crowd upon his return.
"You hope the audience remembers you and cares about you being back. It wasn’t until a few weeks prior that I got the official confirmation I would be good to go for this event. For the audience to be so excited and elated filled my heart with a ton of joy. It was just a confirmation that for all the hard work people do support me and have my back, which was really cool," he said.
The Panama City Playboy was sidelined from action last year when he injured his ankle at Dynamite: Grand Slam. Despite the injury, he was active on TV, but not inside the ring. After MJF attacked him at Double or Nothing in May, he went on a hiatus.
