A WWE Hall of Famer's son is set to become a professional wrestler soon and the legend wants him to be the next MJF. The name in question is none other than Mark Henry and his son, Jacob Henry.
The World's Strongest Man recently revealed his son Jacob's goals for professional wrestling. Mark Henry stated that Jacob wanted to main-event WrestleMania and become a champion in Japan. Jacob Henry recently won his 100th match in amateur wrestling and is currently wrestling for the University of Oklahoma.
In an exclusive chat with Sportskeeda Wrestling's senior editor Bill Apter, former world champion Henry revealed that his son was attracted to characters like MJF, The Miz, and The Rock. Henry explained that Jacob is a great talker and can entertain the fans with the microphone.
"Yes, but I don't think he wants to follow me. He wants to be more like MJF. He wants to be more like Miz. He wants to be more like The Rock because he can talk. He can sing, he can dance. He was a lead singer in a band. The dude is talented. I couldn't hold a note in a bucket. But I'm just proud of him."
The WWE Hall of Famer revealed the advice he gave to Jacob after knowing that he didn't want to live in his shadow. Mark Henry explained to him that his shadow was big because he was the best on earth.
"I wasn't the best in the city. I wasn't the best in the state or the country. I've been a world champion in three sports. I said I cast a pretty big shadow, Jacob. He's proud of it but he wants his own and he's gonna get his own." [6:11 - 7:45]
