WWE Hall of Famer confirms appearance for Forbidden Door 2024

A certain WWE Hall of Famer has provided an update on his status heading into the Forbidden Door pay-per-view happening this weekend. The event will feature top stars from AEW, NJPW, CMLL, and STARDOM. This would be Jim Ross.

The legendary commentator is signed to All Elite Wrestling but has been appearing sporadically during their shows. He has been paying attention to certain health issues. JR has been working during pay-per-views and several other major events of the promotion.

On X, Jim Ross revealed that he was already flying to New York for Forbidden Door, saying he wouldn't miss it. The pay-per-view will take place at the UBS Arena. The WWE Hall of Famer missed Double or Nothing last month and is set to return to the desk this weekend.

"Flying to NYC Saturday for #ForbiddenDoor. Wouldn’t miss it @AEW," Ross tweeted.

A few days ago, Jim Ross provided a concerning health update as he visited the hospital due to some issues but reassured the public that he would recover soon.

The WWE Hall of Famer revealed he went to the emergency room due to difficulty breathing. The 72-year-old then claimed that despite this seeming like an overnight stay, he would be okay.

"Another trip to the ER. Difficulty breathing. Likely an overnight stay. I’ll be ok. Let’s fight!" he wrote.

Despite several health issues at his age, the world-renowned icon has not backed down. He has continued to try his best to work. Ross is considered to be one of the most iconic voices in wrestling, and he will be a great addition to the commentary team during Forbidden Door this weekend.
