Legend addresses Adam Copeland's injury: "A game of not just inches but milli-inches" (Exclusive)
Former TNT Champion Adam Copeland (fka Edge) recently suffered a massive injury at the Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View. Many experts and legends have shared their thoughts on the veteran's injury over the past few weeks, including WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett.
The Rated-R Superstar broke his tibia at the Double or Nothing last month, where he defended his TNT Title against Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Cage Match. The unfortunate injury happened after Copeland jumped off the top of the cage on Black but landed feet-first. The former WWE Superstar has had surgery and is currently recovering.
In an exclusive chat with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Jeff Jarrett shared his thoughts on Adam Copeland's injury and said the following:
"It's the reality of professional wrestling, especially in this day and age with the high-risk, high-reward maneuvers that go with the industry and you just kinda look at Adam [Copeland] jumping off the top of the cage. Our business is in my opinion literally a game of not just inches but milli-inches. I'm not gonna speak for him, I'm not even gonna speak about this specific deal but it comes with the territory. You're gonna get in a steel cage match. You signed up for the potential of injury."
The veteran further compared MJF and The Rated-R Superstar:
"Same with MJF, you know I haven't spoken specifically to him about the injury so it is kinda tuned into the spectrum. MJF is at the beginning of his career but Adam [Copeland] is kinda on the back side of it. Things can happen at any time and as a promotion, you gotta be prepared for it but as a talent, you absolutely have to be prepared for it. Both of those guys have incredible upside and to date, both of them have had phenomenal careers." [From 02:13 to 04:17]

Adam Copeland reflects on jumping from the top of the cage at AEW Double or Nothing
The Rated-R Superstar recently addressed his risky dive on Malakai Black during their Barbed Wire Cage Match at Double or Nothing. Speaking in an interview with Sports Illustrated, Adam Copeland revealed that the spot went exactly as he planned.
“My biggest concern when I got up there was, ‘How do I not crush him?” said Copeland. “I didn’t even consider getting injured. My take was if I jumped to the side, landed on my feet, and hit him with my arm but not my body, then the table would break just because of the sheer height. It happened exactly how I planned it,” Copeland said. [H/T - Sports Illustrauted]
Adam Copeland was stripped of his TNT Championship at the post-Double or Nothing Dynamite. It will be interesting to see who wins the vacant Title in the Ladder match at Forbidden Door.
