WWE legend declares no one can hang with him on the mic in unscripted promos; he would "kill" AEW's MJF
WWE legend Bully Ray claimed that no wrestler can beat him on the microphone in unscripted promos, not even AEW star MJF. He is currently under a Legends contract with WWE.
Ray made his in-ring return at the NXT 2300 Arena show in Philadelphia on November 6, where he teamed up with Trick Williams to take on Ridge Holland and Ethan Page. Unfortunately, the veteran and his ally couldn't pick up the win.
Following his in-ring return, Bully Ray sat down with Signed By Superstars where he was asked to comment on a hypothetical promo segment with United States Champion LA Knight.
Ray declared that nobody in the wrestling business could beat him on the microphone provided that the promo is unscripted. He even went as far as to say that he is better than Maxwell Jacob Friedman, who is considered to have some of the best mic skills in the industry.
"Guys, let me explain something to you: There’s not one person in this industry who can hang with me on the microphone when no scripts are involved and those mics are hot. Nobody… He’d (MJF) get killed," he said. [H/T POST Wrestling]
Who was MJF's informant on AEW Dynamite?
On the recent edition of Dynamite, MJF's informant met up with Don Callis backstage and handed him money and his Dynamite Diamond Ring as payment to handle his rival Adam Cole.
The fans later found out that the informant was independent pro wrestler Duke Davis. He went on Twitter to reveal his Dynamite debut.
"Well. I guess my MESSAGE was well received. #AEWDynamite," he wrote.
Adam Cole is set to take on Konosuke Takeshita next week. If he wins, he'll earn the chance to wrestle The Wolf of Wrestling at Full Gear which the former AEW Champion doesn't want to happen.
