WWE legend takes a brutal dig at Chris Jericho after NXT defeats AEW Dynamite in ratings

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has taken a huge shot at AEW star Chris Jericho after NXT beat Dynamite in ratings. The black and silver brand and AEW's flagship show went head-to-head this past Wednesday night.

WWE presented NXT from the iconic ECW's 2300 Arena this past Wednesday. The show was stacked with ECW legends like Bully Ray, Nunzio, Rhyno, RVD, and more. Meanwhile, Wednesday Night Dynamite emanated from the SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH. WWE's developmental brand defeated Dynamite in ratings as the episode drew 619,000 viewers with a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Meanwhile, Tony Khan's flagship show garnered 523,000 viewers with a 0.16 rating in the above demographic.

During a virtual singing with Signed By Superstars, Bully Ray, who tagged with Trick Williams to face Ridge Holland and Ethan Page at NXT 2300, celebrated the developmental brand's victory over Dynamite in ratings. The veteran claimed that he was the "Ratings God" and took a major jab at Chris Jericho, who previously dubbed himself the ''Demo God!''

“NXT beat AEW in the ratings last night! Why? [points to himself] Ratings God! Not the demo god, but the rating’s god. Take that, Chris Jericho!” he said. [H/T: RingsideNews]

Bully Ray claims WWE star Jade Cargill was more comfortable in AEW

Jade Cargill made her shocking All Elite Wrestling departure last year to ink a deal with the Stamford-based promotion. However, many have pointed out some flaws in the former TBS Champion's work and even advised her to train at the WWE Performance Center.

In a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray said that The Storm had faced a lot more pressure in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut, claiming that she was more mentally comfortable in Tony Khan's company. However, praised Jade's current work and said that the reigning Women's Tag Team Champion had all the tools to become a major star in the company.

"I thought about this the other night. Here's my take on Jade: I think Jade was mentally more comfortable in AEW. There's, I think, a lot more pressure on her in WWE – the pressure of, she came over; she came over with what is it called, high expectations. Yes, she's doing well. She's got everything you need to have to become a megastar there, but when she moves, yes, I see her thinking," the Hall of Famer said. [19:39 onwards]

We will have to wait and see when WWE decides to move Jade Cargill away from the tag team division.
