WWE's Big E pens emotional message: "What a beautiful tribute to an amazing human"

Former WWE Champion Big E recently reacted to the heartfelt tribute from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) to the late Brodie Lee (FKA Luke Harper). The former WWE star passed away in December 2020.

All Elite Wrestling recently announced the launch of tribute sneakers for the late Brodie Lee in collaboration with Reebok. Many wrestlers around the world have reacted to the heartfelt news, including Big E and former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF).

Big E, who was a close friend of the erstwhile Luke Harper, reacted to Amanda Huber's post on Twitter (X) and further paid tribute to the Exalted One by showing his recent pair of Reeboks.

"What a beautiful tribute to an amazing human. Thank you, @MandaLHuber, for making sure his legacy remains strong," he wrote.

Dutch Mantell advises WWE star Big E to take retirement from wrestling

Big E suffered a broken neck in March 2022 and has been out of action ever since. Many wondered when we'd see the former Intercontinental Champion back in the squared circle.

Speaking on Storytime with Dutch Mantell podcast, the veteran manager urged Big E to call time on his in-ring career and engage in non-wrestling roles with the Stamford-based promotion.

"I think he's [Big E] been out too long. I really do. And I think he's thinking about that; you know, his wife is. Because if it could happen once, it could happen again. It's too big of a liability for him and his family for him to take that chance. I think if I were him, I just say, 'My wrestling days are over,' and I just [sic] keep the job at WWE because they'll have him doing something," he said. [From 01:19:03 to 01:19:48]

Many top stars like Daniel Bryan and Edge have come back from career-threatening injuries in the Stamford-based promotion. It will be interesting to see if Big E follows the same path and returns sometime in the future.
