WWE SmackDown star publicly confesses to 'hating' two AEW performers after controversial incident

A WWE SmackDown star has reacted to a seemingly playful social media message sent to her by two AEW personalities. The talent in question is none other than Mia Yim (aka Michin), who responded to Stokely Hathaway and Shelton Benjamin.

The Gold Standard made his All Elite debut this week on the fifth-anniversary episode of Dynamite, confronting Prince Nana and backing up his former stablemate MVP as the latter's new business partner. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion is reportedly signed with AEW, as is Bobby Lashley, which seemingly lends credence to rumors of The Hurt Business reuniting in the Tony Khan-led promotion as The Hurt Syndicate.

Benjamin, along with All Elite Wrestling personality Stokely Hathaway, recently sent a crude message to his long-time friend, Mia Yim. Stokely took to X/Twitter to reveal that the two men had sent Michin a photograph of them jointly flipping her off.

The 35-year-old SmackDown star later responded to Stokely's tweet, seemingly keeping her well-known social media rivalry with Benjamin going, and professed her hatred for him and Hathaway.

"I hate you both so much," wrote Michin.

Despite their often-intense banter on social media, Shelton Benjamin has been outspoken about his love for Mia Yim and his admiration for the latter's abilities inside the squared circle. Their real-life friendship was reflected in Michin's response to the 49-year-old star's recent AEW debut.

After months of speculation, Benjamin made his first appearance on the Jacksonville-based promotion this week on Dynamite and was revealed to be an associate of recently arrived All Elite personality MVP.

On the heels of the Wednesday-night show, Yim took to X/Twitter to post a photograph of herself wearing the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion's merchandise, possibly in a congratulatory gesture.

It remains to be seen what lies next for Shelton Benjamin and The Hurt Syndicate in All Elite Wrestling.
