WWE star possibly pays tribute to Shane McMahon on SmackDown amid rumors of his AEW move
A current WWE Superstar may have paid tribute to Shane McMahon on this week's episode of Smackdown amid rumors surrounding the latter's possible move to AEW. The talent in question is none other than Chelsea Green.
For some time now, Shane-O-Mac has been at the center of conjecture, especially after his meeting with All Elite Wrestling CEO Tony Khan earlier this year. Since then, speculations have been running rife with respect to the likelihood of McMahon appearing on AEW programming. In fact, several fans are of the opinion that Shane could be the mastermind behind Jon Moxley and The BCC's "war" against the Jacksonville-based company.
Amid such rumors surrounding Shane McMahon and the prospects of the latter showing up on All Elite Wrestling, Smackdown Superstar Chelsea Green seemingly paid homage to the former WWE executive after the latest episode of the Friday night show. Green, who lost to Mia Yim in a Dumpster Match at the show, took to X/Twitter to post a snapshot of herself performing a high-flying move in the bout, alluding to The Prodigal Son's iconic maneuver, Coast-to-Coast, in the caption.
"Evidence of my coast-to-coast," wrote Green.

Ex-WWE star Mercedes Mone on Shane McMahon coming to AEW
Following his meeting with Tony Khan, Shane McMahon revealed in a statement that the two men had been linked up through a mutual friend and that they had discussed their shared love for pro wrestling as well as the experience of working with family.
However, even before his meeting with TK, McMahon had been sighted at LaGuardia Airport with AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. Speculations regarding Shane's All Elite arrival have received more fuel recently after he appeared in a photograph with The Young Bucks.
On a recent edition of her newsletter Mone Mag, The CEO voiced her approval of Shane McMahon coming to AEW, asserting that the latter belongs in the pro-wrestling industry.
"Seeing Shane's incredible heart and passion for wrestling makes me think he has a lot of unfinished business. It also makes me think is Shane coming to AEW? I'm here for it, and I'm sure our roster is too. Regardless, it just seems like Shane belongs in the wrestling business. I admit if he doesn't come back to wrestling, it will make me sad for him. I know what it's like to be removed from what you love and how sad it made me. I imagine he feels the same way."
It remains to be seen if the former WWE personality and wrestling icon will decide to go All Elite any time soon.
