WWE star reflects on reality of working with AEW's Renee Paquette
A WWE star has revealed the reality of working with AEW backstage interviewer Renee Paquette. The star is none other than Jackie Redmond.
Since joining the Stamford-based promotion, Jackie Redmond has taken WWE by storm. She is one of the most recognizable faces in the company and has earned her way to the top. As a backstage interviewer on RAW, she has done a great job.
Before joining World Wrestling Entertainment, Jackie Redmond worked on Sportsnet, where Renee also worked. The star has now revealed how good it was to work with Paquette. While speaking on the Gabby AF podcast, she praised Paquette and reflected on their relationship.
"She is such an amazing person, like you started this off with pumping my tires about being genuine and stuff, like Renee is that way, like is somebody that is such a great teammate, she's been a great mentor to me. I have all the time in the world for Renee but we go back so far, like Renee and I met before she was ever even at WWE because she started in sports at the same network, even if she had never done anything for me and was horrible to me I would still respect the s**t out of her because she in a lot of ways is what, when I started out, aspired to be." Former WWE star Nic Nemeth calls Renee Paquette the MVP of AEW
Renee Paquette is known all around the wrestling world, and she is synonymous with her work in WWE and AEW.
Now, TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth has revealed how Paquette is the unsung hero and the MVP of AEW. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, he said:
"Seriously, that is an unsung hero, MVP of AEW because she's in five, six, seven backstages every night. Every single step of the way, Renee reacts to it appropriately or embraces whatever the mood is, and even last night [on 'Dynamite'] just in between a very serious promo, she was just throwing the mic and moving it back and forth, knowing the stage direction of what this group was going to do. I said, 'Dammit, she's so good at her job.'"
For someone as talented as Renee Paquette, that is some high praise indeed, and she will be even more happy that it is coming from a former WWE name.
