WWE stars Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair make AEW champion's list of top 4 'toughest opponents'

A top star and AEW champion recently named four competitors she considers to have been her toughest opponents—a list that includes WWE's Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair. The talent in question is Mercedes Mone.

The CEO made her explosive All Elite Wrestling debut at Dynamite: Big Business earlier this year. She has been on an impressive run since then, having won the AEW TBS Championship at Double or Nothing 2024 and the NJPW Strong Women's Championship at Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

In the course of her pro wrestling career, Mone has locked horns with a number of formidable competitors. In a recent edition of her newsletter, Mone Mag, the star shared a list of wrestlers she regarded as her four toughest opponents. The list included WWE Superstars Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Bianca Belair, and AEW's Willow Nightingale.

"For my Mt. Rushmore of toughest opponents, I answered Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Bianca [Belair], and Willow [Nightingale]," Mone wrote. [H/T Wrestling Inc]

Mone, along with Bayley, Flair, and Becky Lynch—collectively known as The Four Horsewomen—played a crucial part in transforming the tone and quality of women's wrestling in the Stamford-based promotion. She also squared off against Belair on several occasions, most notably main eventing Night One of WrestleMania 37, which saw The EST dethrone The Boss for the Smackdown Women's Championship.

Mone and Nightingale have battled each other twice, with their most recent match taking place at AEW Double or Nothing this year. Mone defeated The Babe with The Power for her TBS Title.

AEW star Mercedes Mone thinks Charlotte Flair has been one of her strongest opponents

Also, in the Mone Mag newsletter, Mercedes Mone praised Charlotte Flair and discussed The Queen's astounding physical strength and prowess, dubbing the latter a "super athlete."

The two women wrestled their last singles match on a WWE house show two years ago in England, with the former Sasha Banks picking up the win via disqualification.

"Without a doubt, Charlotte takes the top spot. This woman doesn’t even know her own strength! She’s a super athlete, and I honestly think she’s still discovering just how physically powerful she is. Charlotte is one of those wrestlers who can throw you around the ring without you even needing to assist," she wrote. [H/T Fightful]

Mercedes Mone retained her TBS Championship against Hikaru Shida at All Out 2024 last month. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the star in AEW.
