WWE Superstar seemingly takes a massive dig at The Elite immediately after Bash in Berlin
A former WWE and AEW world champion seemingly took a shot at The Elite and an infamous incident after his victory at Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event. The star mentioned it during an exclusive backstage interview.
The WWE Superstar in question is none other than CM Punk. The Second City Saint squared off against Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match at the Bash in Berlin PLE. In an amazing back-and-forth match, Punk registered a convincing win over Drew. Punk also got his bracelet back, which The Scottish Warrior snatched from him during their rivalry.
The Second City Saint reflected on his victory in an exclusive backstage interview. Punk revealed the message his better half, AJ Lee, sent him, also seemingly taking a dig at The Elite and the infamous Brawl Out incident that took place at All Out 2022.
Punk's dog, Larry, was also allegedly present during the Brawl Out incident between CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks. Speaking to Jackie Redmond in a WWE exclusive, the former AEW star said that his wife told him to hurt people if Larry were involved, just like in the past.
"She told me, anytime it involves Larry, she tells me to 'make sure you hurt them.' Just like in the past, if anybody messes with my dog, I hurt them. I think I hurt Drew and I can hopefully move on. I have gold on my mind," Punk stated. [H/T Fightful]
CM Punk on his plans after the victory at WWE Bash in Berlin
CM Punk registered his first singles win after over a decade against Drew McIntyre at WWE Bash in Berlin. In the exclusive backstage interview, Punk reflected on his plans after the big victory as well:
"It feels good. A big deal has been made out of this, but it was really about the disrespect to my dog and my wife. I plan on going home and giving my dog and my wife a big hug and a kiss, maybe not in that order, but probably in that order, and move on to bigger and better things."
Moreover, The Best in the World seemingly has his sights set on the World Heavyweight title after his win over Drew. Only time will tell if he will be challenging for the title.
