WWE veteran claims he would put Tony Khan in a submission hold to get some information out of him
A WWE veteran recently claimed he would put AEW President Tony Khan in a submission hold to get some information from him. This will undoubtedly make many fans chuckle. The veteran who made the bold claim is none other than Dutch Mantell.
Mantell is usually very serious when it comes to voicing his opinion on wrestling matters. However, he decided to have some fun on one of his recent podcast episodes when it came to AEW President Tony Khan.
While speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the host of the show said that it's a waste of time to have Tony Khan in an interview as he is someone who does not give out a lot of information. WWE veteran Dutch Mantell jokingly said he would put TK in a submission hold to get some information.
“But hey, I would tell him that. Say something, you are not saying anything. I would put him in a submission hold and make him talk. Hey, and then you would have a little zapper, you know and then if he didn't answer right,we just give him like a two second shock and after a while, he would start coughing up some information.” [1:05:15 - 1:05:45]
Dutch Mantell reveals why former WWE star Bryan Danielson does not want to become AEW World Champion
Former WWE star Bryan Danielson has been in AEW for a few years and has yet to become the world champion.
The star claimed he did not want the title and was happy for the younger generation to take the mantle. Now, Dutch Mantell has given his reasons as to why he thinks Bryan Danielson does not want to become the champion.
While speaking on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the WWE veteran said:
“I don't think he [Bryan Danielson] wants to do it; I think he could do it, but he doesn't want that pressure on him; I don't blame him. So he's saying that he's turning it down and letting somebody else do it. 'I've had my time,' which I appreciate; 'I've had my time,' and he's still got a job at AEW anyway. So, it's not like he's turning it down; he doesn't have anything, but it is a strange thing to hear from somebody like Daniel Bryan.”
However, all that could be about to change as Danielson recently won the Owen Hart Cup tournament and will now get the chance to take on Swerve Strickland for his world title at All In at Wembley Stadium in August.
