WWE veteran shares concerns about Daniel Garcia at AEW Full Gear
A WWE Hall of Famer has claimed that Daniel Garcia's match this weekend at AEW Full Gear may be the "sink or swim" moment of his career. This would be Jeff Jarrett who commented on Garcia's future potentially changing with his upcoming match.
This weekend, Garcia is set to challenge Jack Perry for the TNT Championship. He has had two other opportunities to capture championship gold this year but fell short both times. Previously, he lost clean to Will Ospreay during their match for the International Championship. In March, he fell victim to the numbers advantage of The Patriarchy when he challenged Christian Cage for the TNT Title unsuccessfully.
During a recent edition of his My World podcast, Jeff Jarrett claimed that at Full Gear, Daniel Garcia had an opportunity to either sink or swim. He then mentioned how it was up to him how he was going to deal with the opportunity right in front of him. This time, numbers won't be a problem as The Young Bucks have taken time off from AEW and won't be a factor in his match with The Scapegoat.
"Let me just lay this out here, I'll make it very short and sweet. Mr. Garcia has an opportunity to sink or swim, it's that simple. What will he do? I am gonna tune in. He has an opportunity, can he deliver?" [H/T - WrestlingInc.]
Daniel Garcia showed how far he was willing to go last weekend
Last weekend on AEW Collision, Daniel Garcia revealed an unhinged facet of his personality as he sent a final message to Jack Perry before their match at the pay-per-view.
During the show, Perry planned on getting inside Garcia's head by taking out his close friend Daddy Magic. The TNT Champion jumped him while on the commentary desk and dragged him backstage where he would continue his attack. Garcia was fortunately able to make it in time and stop anything worse from happening.
For good measure, both men grabbed Perry and decided to chain him to the hood of his van, before driving around the vicinity of the arena, smashing through everything in their way.
This was a clear message of how far they were willing to go to take down Jack Perry. This unhinged, aggressive side of Daniel Garcia may be what he needs to bring out to finally become the TNT Champion at Full Gear.
