"WWE has and will always be the goal," declares star after wrestling 15 AEW matches
The rivalry between AEW and WWE has been intense. Although the Jacksonville-based promotion was formed only half a decade ago, it's already one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world.
Several talented names have entered the AEW ring throughout the years. One of them is 32-year-old Alex Gracia, who has participated in 15 matches in the company. Gracia reportedly hails from Texas and began wrestling in 2018. Apart from the Jacksonville-based promotion, she has appeared in Impact Wrestling, World Wonder Ring Stardom, and NWA.
Recently, Gracia stated on X (fka Twitter) that the biggest goal of her career is to sign for WWE.
"The WWE has and will always be the goal."
Fans responded to the former AEW competitor's update with many reactions. While some supported her and wanted her to follow her dreams, a few recommended she sign with All Elite Wrestling instead.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Alex Gracia.
According to AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone, Tony Khan is easy to talk to
Mercedes Mone is the reigning TBS Champion and the NJPW Strong Women's Champion. She made her debut in the Jacksonville-based company earlier this year. However, she has already become one of their biggest assets. In a recent interview with the Battleground podcast, she praised the company's founder and co-owner, Tony Khan.
"I sometimes still don’t know what I’m doing week to week because Tony [Khan] is so busy, but once I get here, he’s so easy to talk to, and if I don’t like a certain thing, we can make something work, and he’s just very open to creating, and he loves creating for AEW. It’s been amazing so far," said Mone. [H/T: 411 Mania]
Tony Khan is currently 42. His father is billionaire businessman and sports tycoon Shahid Khan.
