"You're full of sh*t" - Former World Champion claims Mercedes Mone is not the face of AEW's women's division

Mercedes Mone has been riding a wave of momentum ever since debuting in AEW back in March. However, her attitude has also gained her several enemies in the promotion. Chief among them is former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker, who recently claimed that Mone was "full of sh*t."

Mercedes Mone has embraced her dark side as the TBS Champion, but her reign was put in serious jeopardy by the return of Dr. Britt Baker. The two have been one-upping each other over the last month, and things got ugly at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.

Britt Baker is officially set to challenge Mone for the TBS title at All In on August 25. In an interview with Ringside Collectibles at SDCC, The Good Doctor was asked about The CEO being a thorn in her side. Baker attacked Mone's status and claimed that she, not the former Sasha Banks, was the face of the women's division.

"I would flip that on you. I would say I’m more of a thorn in her side because now I’m back, and the games are over. You can’t just look in the mirror and pretend. Now you have to live up to it, and you’re not the face of the division, I am. So who’s the thorn in whose side? It’s me because I’m the friendly reminder that you’re full of sh*t," Baker said. Mercedes Mone involved in major brawl at San Diego Comic-Con

The tension between Mercedes Mone and Britt Baker has been thick ever since the latter interrupted the TBS Champion's victory celebration at Forbidden Door 2024. Mone paid the favor back the following week by crashing Baker's return promo on Dynamite.

That tension boiled over during a panel at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con when the former Sasha Banks showed up unannounced and talked down to The Doctor. A brawl then erupted, with Tony Khan and Will Ospreay rushing to hold Mercedes back while Orange Cassidy did the same with Baker.
