Rhea Ripley may not return to WWE alone
Rhea Ripley has been away from WWE ever since she got injured after WrestleMania 40. It was an unfortunate event for her when she got jumped by her former best friend, Liv Morgan. Since then, there has been no news on her.
In the meantime, Morgan has been on a rampage and is doing all she can to make sure that she takes everything from Ripley. She set her eyes on Dominik Mysterio, and sparks have been flying between them. It seems like it is only a matter of time before the two form an alliance.
That leaves Rhea Ripley in the lurch and the Judgment Day potentially in tatters. However, all that can be allayed, as Ripley can come back from injury with another known name by her side. Having that star by her side could also do wonders for Judgment Day.
Rhea Ripley could come back with Buddy Matthews
Losing Dominik Mysterio could be a blessing disguise for Ripley, as that way, she could get Buddy Matthews over from AEW. The House of Black star is under contract until 2027, but there could still be a chance for him to come back to his former workplace.
Given that the two of them are already in a real-life relationship, there will be no problem for them to hit it off from the get-go. It would be a great thing for WWE in general. Rhea Ripley also said in an interview that she hopes her partner could one day come back to WWE.
Judgment Day could replace Dominik with Matthews
Losing a heel like Dominik Mysterio will be a big blow for Judgment Day, but that can be easily overcome by the signing of Matthews. Ever since moving to AEW, Matthews has mainly been portrayed as a heel and has taken to it like a fish to water.
His presence in the faction could also propel him to be a leader, given the internal struggles between Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
Rhea could focus more on her singles career
With Buddy taking charge of the Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley could be taking care of the business that has affected her the most. Without the added pressure of leading the stable, she could fully focus on taking down Liv Morgan and winning back her title.
That way, she could easily climb back to the pinnacle of women’s wrestling in WWE. It would also be an easy way to the top for her, given that Becky Lynch is also away from the company for now.
