39-year-old star to be on oxygen for several weeks, AEW future unknown - Reports
Top AEW star Luchasarus (AKA Killswitch) was recently taken off television due to a health scare and was put on oxygen as a result. A recent report has unveiled an important update on the latter's condition.
The former TNT Champion was diagnosed with pneumonia after he collapsed in his home a couple of weeks ago. Luchasarus was placed on oxygen due to his condition and has been on the road to recovery. Many AEW stars have shared heartfelt messages in support of Luchasaurus.
In a recent report by Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp, it was revealed that Luchasarus will stay on oxygen for a number of weeks. The doctors hope to see him return to the squared circle, but getting better physically is the priority.
"He's on oxygen. Nowhere near training for a potential return. Most medical professionals he's spoken to indicate, they think he'll be able to return but getting better physically is the primary goal. He's going to be on oxygen for a number of weeks." -Fightful
Marko Stunt recently sent a message to his former AEW partner Luchasarus (Killswitch)
Marko Stunt, Luchasaurus, and Jack Perry debuted as a trio in AEW known as Jurrassic Express. The group was popular among fans during the pandemic era but disbanded shortly after Marko departed from the promotion.
On his X (fka Twitter), Marko Stunt reacted to Luchasaurus getting diagnosed with pneumonia and sent a heartfelt message to his former stablemate.
"Whatever @luchasaurus has going on in his head right now, idk. But I’ll never forget the times he stuck his neck out for me, both in and outside the ring. Genuinely cared for and protected me. What happened dude? Don’t you remember everything?" he wrote.
Luchasarus was an important part of Christian Cage's Patriarchy faction before he was taken off television. We will have to wait and see what the company have in store of the former TNT Champion once he's ready to return to action.
